  • What's going on piskie?

Had one of these circling about earlier:

I know we've had a shooting nearby (the dude shot in Luton last night was only 50 or so yards from my mums house), but this is a little overkill innit?

Don't worry HW - we get so many of these around here we think it odd if we cant hear one.
There comes a point in your life when you realize who matters, who never did, who won't anymore and who always will. Don't worry about people from your past, there's a reason why they didn't make it in your future.

Tis a rare day that I don't see one of these:

Do hope there was nothing overly sinister about the Merlin in your vicinity though HW.

I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

We are not far from Salisbury Plain. Every time we drive that way (a couple of times a week) there is at least one member of that tribe about, apparently 'searching' for something. Sometimes we get them even closer flying searches over the nearby woods...
Then if we set off in the opposite direction, we get the big slow 'strong-man' birds that I never manage to get a picture of. Those fly lazy circles, sometimes up to 4 of them going round at a time.
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

We had one late last night! sooooo low frightened the life out of my cats, what it does to others pets, livestock and wildlife is anyone's guess!
Police were messing about in one a few weeks back hovering just above ours, and next doors house! very scary- so much noise and they were there for about 15 minutes each time. made Mr HF quite angry as he was at home at the time.

The only time we see helicopters is if there has been an accident on the M20 - and then its just TV crews filming the scene.

Red Arrows went over t'other day.....

We reckon with the number of big bomber style planes, little fighter planes, chinnooks and scary big beetle style choppers we get low flying over the hill to here they all seem to use our house for something - we reckon for sight testing guns and the pathway through the orchard for some sort of navigation
