  • Desiderata (things to be greatly desired)

On the last day of the year (Hogmanay in Scotland) I thought I would share this inspirational writing by Max Ehrmann with you all. I think there is much wisdom there. And take this opportunity to wish everybody a happy, healthy and successful new year.

Alice, what a lovely way to finish off the old year. Theres something in that poem for everyone. We would do well to try to take a lesson from it.
May i wish everyone a peaceful new year.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
