There are two hospitals locally, one good, one you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy. My daughter has just been admitted as an emergency to the bad one. Where do I stand legally for getting her transferred? How do I go about it?

Thankfully, after running a series of tests she has been discharged until the results are known. A friend who works there suggests that if she needs to be hospitalized at a later date then we should take her to the other hospital's drop in centre and have her admitted through them rather than go through the GP. It's just a relief to have her home.Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

She's fine today, thank you, just feeling a little embarrassed that so much fuss was made. She currently seems more worried that it might prevent her donating blood later in the month. She's O negative, which makes her a universal donor and since she found out her blood type she's taken donating it very seriously, bless her. She's tiny too, a pint from her must be more than the proverbial armful!Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.
