I aint complaining though, there's just a small amount of time I can get the remote for and that doesn't give a lot of tv time so only get to watch some of the above

I love 'em too Hayley AND I have total remote control for a few more weeks but I do wish the Beeb (or a.n.other tv man) would give up some more on the gardening front.

A bit like "Jordan" Top Heavy.....I can see where your coming from, whats the point in having all these cookery programmes on, if the powers that be don't show (some) people how there veg is grown in the first place.... That's why I love H.F.W, at least he combines the two...Grand Chap.

I think there are a lot more people who don't want all the cookery programs on offer (but do want some of them) than there would ever be for gardening, and let's face it, there are many different 'styles' of cookery (posh, plain, and assorted foreign<g>), but gardening pretty much is gardening! They seem to do something about every aspect in Gardener's World (maybe they should split that, into edible, fancy and under-glass, but then there are 'overlaps' in that as well)

The trouble is we are all (well except for the minority here present) breeding lazy couch potato kids who won't go out in the open if you pay them. Not too suprisingly people who are raised to think that all food comes prepackaged and preferably preprepared fail to have any interest in getting their hands dirty and don't want to see gardening programs.

The tv companies cater to the choices of their vewers.

What are you complaining about - at least your hobby gets a couple of programs - where are the programs for woodturners?

Yeah and you dont see many programs for Sagger Makers Bottom Knockers either.
