Mine is a pair of steelies so I don't stick the fork through my toes. Just to prove after 22 years he still cares.

I got a bunch of flowers on Monday evening

Wasn't a present really but i came home from work yesterday and my hubby had a million candles all over the house and had run me a bath. A glass of wine and a footrub later and I've fallen in love with him all over again.

Don't have an OH, but number one son bought me a lovely bale of multi-purpose compost last birthday. Even put sparkly silver ribbon round it with a bow on the top!!

OH has just booked and payed for us to go to Cyprus in the new year for our 25Th anniversary of meeting, after all this time he still surprise me. He's not the most romantic guy you could ever meet, so when he dose something like this, it makes it extra special, but I love him because he's him.

Not exactly a pressie but he upped and cleaned the microwave for no particular reason earlier this week!

Madmax bought me a ticket for the Isle of Wight hovercraft last Friday (and a return one for you cynics). Trouble was, I forgot about the garlic farm and we didn't pay for enough car park time to go visit and buy any garlic

The most recent present OH has bought me is a mahoosive crafting kit from QVC, but I'm not allowed to play with it til Christmas (oh no, I've said the 'C' word again...please don't tell Zazen, she'll have me back on the Norty Step).

But the sweetest, kindest present he has given me recently was a bunch of flowers when I was feeling off colour a few weekends ago. Awwww

A guidebook to Prague hidden in a massive box filled with tissue paper. I have always wanted to go there and he was goig to arrange it all Three days later the Danube burst its banks and Prague was under 6ft of water

We have always said if Mr H did something truly romanitic it would need an Act of God!

A surprise weekend away a fortnight ago for my b-day. I was gob-smacked!

And getting me loads of little gardening things I wouldnt get for myself, like those posh secateurs and thermal wearable gloves.

And the day he climbed in an old olive barrel to fit the tap (turned it into a waterbutt!), and it swallowed him up!

my OH paid for seeds at Wyvale, in return i'm planting 2 flower beds and a herb garden for her (she does not do veg gardening and I don't do flower gardens), she's got no idea so hopefully it will be a surprise, she gets cut flowers from me quite often and of course a bucket of carrots in spring

I thinks shes probably the only woman to go soppy over some carrots
