Where Did You Meet Your OH....?

Met my wife at a friends wedding. Turned out Anna was the older sister of a mate from college at the time. Her brother was my best man at our wedding and five years later we are still going strong.

At the risk of sounding soppy and sentimental, in my case it literally was love at first sight! I had recently finished a relationship that was serious (getting married, church booked, that sort of thing) but it fizzled out. I was largely over it when I went to a disco with a mate of mine. SAt at a table were two young ladies - 1 brunette, 1 blonde. We offered a drink, which was accepted. We went out in my car for a drive about, and were sat at a local beauty spot chatting (No, honestly). I was with the brunette, my mate was with the blonde. During the somewhat idle conversation, I said that I was a virgin. (Yeah, right!) The blonde said "Prove it!"
The blonde and I are celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary on the 22nd of this month. We have 1 fantastic daughter, and 3 brilliant sons and an absolutely amazing grandson. Awww, aint that sweet.

PS. Quite literally, as I finished posting my last, my daughter phoned me. I'm going to be a grandad again. (Tears)
