I use large Kilner jars - it's much easier to get the used sloes out afterwards. Sloe gin goes back into original bottles (relabelled). Sloes get used a second time for Slider.

Cheap gin
Picked sloes on Sunday in wind and driving rain (nothing good comes easy) and thought I would browse supermarket websites for cheap gin! Much to complicated to access this info so typed 'cheap gin' into google and look where it led me. I found out exactly what I wanted to know and much more besides, looking forward to making Slider!
