Has anyone heard of a programme called "Plotcrop"? A friend had it bought for Christmas and I wondered if anyone has any comments about it.

I have used a spreadsheet to keep a track of costs and planting dates ec and that does for me. The Plotcrop thingy looks complicated but keeps more comprehensive data (if you can remember to input it).

Nope, not heard of it, but a quick Google (ooer LJ!) brought up this link
    http://www.wys-systems.demon.co.uk/plotcrop/

Which makes it look quite good, if a bit more complicated!

What does your friend think of it Digger? How much did it cost if you dont mind me asking?

Cost?? Father Christmas brought it of course.

It was £25 from the designer maxwright@wys-systems.demon.co.uk

It looks good, the help screens are useful but It needs a bit of input before anything can be done so early days yet. Some good options are recording crops and rotation as well as records of seed variety and suppliers with harvest outcomes.
