        Have to say my postal service at home is pretty good. Not early, not by any stretch, but she drives down my drive daily around 11.30 which is fine by me.
        Sometimes she goes on holidays, or is off sick, and the stand in is quite scrummy, so 11.30 often finds me out the front, "working" on something or other.

          Yes, jesting. But as I was queueing behind 18 other poor souls in the post office, we had to file past a huge red display of Chrimble cards.
          Thoughts of wanton destruction went through my head (like accidentally tipping it over) ... but I didn't want to look like a mad old bird. I consoled myself with the thought that the display will be right tatty by December.

              Norty step P.B you said the "C" word. I called at my local garden center on Sunday and they were putting all the (norty step word) decorations out, at the side of all the halloween stuff.. I ask you, if that not confusing for kids...what it. I agree totally " The world has gone mad".

                  some things are just not worthy of a fight - Christmas (eek) stuff in August, Easter stuff in November, think of it as the seasons shifting a la global warming
