Hmmm......at least you're only addicted to seeds. I have the same problem with fabrics suppliers, ribbon suplliers, anything to do with chickens, raw chocolate suppliers, chocolate mould suppliers, ebay and the Joules Clothing catalogue. And Amazon & The Book Depository....
I'm just a hopeless case...there is no cure.

Yeah, just go for it - if you order too much, just join the seed swap!
I have managed to shred all my seed catalogues this year so far! It's a passing fad that just will NOT last - I know I'll weaken in the endAll the best - Glutton 4 Punishment

Hello....My name is "ginger ninger" and I'm a seedaholic...I have been attending these meetings for around 30 years now, as far as I know there's no cure, the voices in my head say I have to look ...I am weak, I can't fight it anymore.....HELP I'm fading fast, give me a seed catalogue...just the one, PLEASE!!!!

Ginger... that was perfect!
Made me larf!
Jules... I'm a sod for books. It's almost a good thing I've been a bit skint for a while as I've been forced into cold turkey. My "to buy" list is only getting longer though!
Bernie... I'll be doing plenty of that. I need to get some seed for green manure and a few things to sow over the next month or so, but other than that I'm really looking forwards to the planning... the thing I'm not looking forwards to though, is the expense!
As for the rest of you... shame on you all for encouraging me! I've not even finished clearing the weeds from my half plot yet and I'm already starting to think I need more space!

Snap Seasprout - arrived today. Today was also the day of me renewing my GO and HSL membership - so I am off for an early hot bath to peruse the catalogue; and mark out what I might want to buy for next year. The good thing about HSL is that I don't ACTUALLY buy until the new year as I'm waiting for the list of the free seeds, and then there's the seed guardian list to wait for - so by the time it all arrives I've lost the Catalogue anyway. Simples.
Plus I visit Ryton regularly anyway so pick up lots of seeds whilst I am there.Last edited by zazen999; 28-09-2009, 08:38 PM.

Zazen999, I let my HSL subscription expire but kept the GO membership, it was too expensive with both, I visit Ryton often, (This Sunday in-fact...Big Event) but they have a seed swap during potato day and I get plenty of HSL seeds from there.
Might renew one day.Blogging at..... www.thecynicalgardener.wordpress.com
