  • Collecting seed for next season.

Hi I'm looking for advice from anyone who can help.
Earlier on in the season I was given an F1 Hybrid sweet pea plant called "Hi Scent".
I have had superb results, so now I am collecting the seed pods for next season.
The question is will I be able to grow from seed and be just as pleased with the results next year??

Because its an F1 you will get a mixture of plants next year...........but none will be the same as this years!

They'll probably all still be pretty and smelly though. Worth a go I reckon, but if you really want the same results next year you'll have to buy again.

Are you sure it's F1? I don't think it is: which means you can save your own seed. Buy Sweet Pea High Scent Seeds online from Suttons
