how would you apply the above, just on the outside, with the eyes closed,as i cannot imagine putting into the eye ,just in case i,or anyone else forget our self's when otherwise occupied,

I'm no medical practitioner, but I would think an eye bath of milk would help and wouldn't do any harm. I can't vouch for the efficacy of the wee, I was just speculating on how to fill an egg cup without making a mess

When I was sitting my GCSEs many moons ago I'd been helping my Dad prepare a meal which had Bird Eye chilis in it. I was on chili duty.

Washed my hands after preparing them, twice again before bed, had a shower the following morning, sat down for an exam, stared working and got about half way in...
          ...itchy eye...
          ...scratched it...!!!

Take the "my eye's melting!" burn and add exam conditions, no opportunity to wash it out, no milk and no noise.

I did most of the exam with my eye closed, I'm just glad the good Lord saw fit to bless me with a spare!

          I passed, by the way.

At least you are not a male and went for a wee.....I won't be any more graphic you can use your imagination. OH lost all his sense of humour when he did it - I personally couldn't stop laughing which apparently didn't help.... its making me giggle just thinking about it.
