  • How do you do your jar labels?

I've been buying rolls of labels from Lakeland but have round out and, before deciding if I want to re-order I thought I'd ask other grapes how they do theirs?

Do you buy sticky labels or make your own?

And if oyu make your own, how do you do it? Handwritten? Computer? Paper stuck on with sellotape or sticky labels?

    Ta muchly

I just use sheets of Avery A4 labels (14 to a sheet) - or 'own brand' equivelant - onto which I can print my own labels. There's various free software out there - one or two that grapes have recommended if you have a quick search.

Brilliant! Thanks. So much better than the hand written ones I've been doing up till now....feel a trip to Staples coming on.....!!!! (Doubt if I'll be able to stop at just labels though!!)

I make my own tie on tags.....much more easy to re-cycle the jars. No labels to soak off!

I use handwritten labels. Not sure where they came from, though, as they're left over from my Examiner's Pack in June! There's something romant-ic about using handwritten, I think!

If you buy avery labels or labels that use avery's codes/sizes then there's lots of free templates and design software for all label sizes - afterall they want you to buy labels! We've previously used them for business card templates, but I'm gonna check out designing some fruity booze labels!

Templates | Design Software & Business Card Templates | Avery

Our labels are L7162 and you put that code into the search box at the top left of the page and it will find templates that are the right size for your label. There's also an online design facility that I just had a play on which is quite easy too. (ps I don't work for Avery! )
