Hi Phil, sorry to hear you're having a more difficult time of it than normal. I can't add to the caring and sound advice the others have given already but can only offer you a big hug ((((((((((((((((()))))))))))))))))) and let you know that you will find your way out the other side.
Sometimes these malaises pass on their own, sometimes they need some encouragement to pass and it might feel like a huge effort today but the hardest part is done - you've said how you really feel.
It seems like we're conditioned to keep a 'face' on at all times (that Stiff Upper lip stuff) but it's actually really healthy to say you're not feeling OK or happy and to stop being that loud, boisterous etc type person so people can really see it. It's nothing to be ashamed of, lots of us have been there and we'll be there for you too.
