Yes, there's no way of making it stay hidden I'm afraid. But you can't see it before you vote, so it shouldn't influence anyone unduly.

ah, that was fun!
I didn't realise that voting would raise so many questions: do I vote for favourite variety? or best picture? or most impressive? (bananas in Scotland)*
It makes you realise why Veg Shows have standards ... so that you can compare like-with-like, and why they do things like cut off roots, peel back skins, and polish the veggies.
