Cheers all, very happy day Chez Leponge as you can imagine.
Just sorting out a trip to get over and meet her.
Spoke to the boy this morning and he was as emotional as I was when my kids were born, pair of grown men in floods, just about got over that, and he sent me this photo, and I started all over again.
Still, not all in vain, tissues are in the recycling container.Bob Leponge

No name as yet, "she'll grow into a name dad" is what I was told. Its bizarre, I've got luscious curly locks (if I let it grow) and still have a full head of hair, whereas the lad is 29 and already losing his in bucket loads (which I may mention from time to time.)

I have just given it a real pruning before it comes into leaf in the hope of getting some regeneration and the tree not having to work as hard getting water and nutrients higher up. If this doesn't work I'll replace it next year with something else.
