Actually- it was my last trip to the UK before Xmas and I wanted to make sure I was leaving nice pressies for friends and family- and also the much cheaper postage of cards.
It's certainly been weird doing it all so close to bonfire night...but I've still got my OH's pressies to get- and a few Ex pat friends...(our French friends don't do Xmas cards and pressis )
