people who break their promises really annoy me

Our childminder promised me her old shed in the summer as she wanted one of those plastic ones instead. My OH agreed to help her husband take it apart and she said we could have it. She said she would let me know when. I've waited and waited for her to say shed needs taking apart, and picked my little boy up today to see 2 new swanky plastic sheds and no old shed in sight.

Cross, as this was going to be my chickens' new house as theirs really won't survive another winter. Grrrr. I hate it when people let me down.

I said ' oh your shed's gone'. And she just said ' yes'. I take it someone gave her some money for it instead. I offered but she said dismantling it would be payment enough

What a shame. Maybe she forgot she'd promised it to you.

Can't see how she could forget if you dismantled it for her. Maybe you should ask her what happened to it, would clear the air at least
