That's all I've done LD., some of the pods were starting to go pale coloured, but none of them were properly dried, so I've got them all spread out in the garage.

Nothing down here yet, but our first frost date is supposed to be mid Nov. We've had loads of rain, just about made the soil soft enough to sow some winter radish (might seem late but I got some decent mooli sowed at this time last year). I brought the pumpkins and squash home last week though, before the rains. Still picking a few of the sparse runners, and hopefully might get a few more french beans too.

I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Well I wouldn't have believed it but 'something' sliced through my plot and wiped out the leaves on my butternut squash plants (they were still flowering) and my basil plants... I always thought we were in a warmer part.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
