Ashamed to admit that I cannot leave that damn spider solitaire alone for long. I set the statistics to zero each morning and check my success at night.
My excuse is that I simply must sit down sometimes and this is good enough let me finish a cup of tea.

I just relented & started my farm tonight...hate to admit it though,I got a lil lost at the first hurdle(I now have four freshly ploughed plots waiting for the soy beans to grow!....they wouldn't go away unless I planted them!)...so if you want an easy opponent!!!

There are no 'opponents' in FV. We're all helpful fellow farmers. Just like the Vine!

I have resisted farmville so far. I hear its very stressfull ensuring your crops are watered and tended - just like the real thing.

It's not too bad, there are crops that take quite a few days, so you don't have to keep going back, and they don't actually need watering (but if you forget to harvest them, they go to waste). I prefer the ones which take money from advertisers and give it to some worthwhile charity. My favourite is My Zoo, which sends money to various charities involved with endangered species (and is also quite a good challenging 'game', not really competitive, and doesn't rely on having friends playing to progress), (Lil) farm life supports rainforest protection, but it's rather a daft game (an even dafter version that Farmville).
