Anyone on here read 'Eats, Shoots and Leaves' by Lynn Truss?
Given to me by my MIL who is a Proof-reader (or is that Proof Reader?) She probably has more gripes about the English language than all of us put together.
I love the idea of the 'interrobang' I want one!All the best - Glutton 4 Punishment

I find misuse of the apostrophe very annoying. It seems to be something that greengrocers just don't get. Do you have to misuse the apostrophe to be a greengrocer? Is it part of the person specification? Terry Pratchett is very amusing about the apostrophe and I adored "Eats Shoots and Leaves" - witty and informative.

Anyways - all this is very interesting.....but back on topic. Ollie - I've seen the photos, and you're a looker - why on earth are you still single again? Are you ridiculously picky or something?Last edited by zazen999; 09-10-2009, 07:41 PM.
