Yay! After 3 years of wanting some shelves, I managed to put them up.
Got the wood off my brother last weekend and spent a portion of today varnishing them and putting them up.
And as you can see, I've filled them already.

I won't argue with you over that! We just cross our fingers and enjoy it while it lasts - but they did have a cracking win against Bristol last week!

Ollie - fantastic looking shelves and filled they look even better - what a fabulous display.

            Why thank you.
The top shelf is only held in with 3 screws as one went into a cavity. It seems secure enough and would take more than a susurration to bring it down, but none-the-less I was weary putting things on it.

Love your style Ollie but I heard a susurration that you really meant wary not weary

Well, weekends nearly over! Did everyone get done what they proposed doing?

I didn't. I got roughly half the stuff done on my list but did a lot of other stuff which wasn't on my list!

I need to get back to work tomorrow to de-stress!

Well I managed to clear the bed ready for the garlic and onions, but it just got too wet for planting today (forecast was 100% wrong!).

Picked and froze caulie, broccoli and corn, lifted the last of the potatoes (including a 15oz first early which escaped earlier in the season) and picked another 2lb of runner beans - they must end soon!

And we did go to the rugby, unfortunately it wasn't a brilliant match, although Chiefs won. But still, 30 fit blokes running round in shorts - it wasn't all bad!

In the end it was only Twiggy and her mates that got a bit of help on Friday night. Saturday was spent round the house recovering . Today I went caching.

Well, I had (sort of) planned to be efficient this weekend, but, as usual, it didn't go to plan.

Saturday just seemed to come and go without much in the way of constructive work being done - only the essentials. Sunday was better, and when I got to the stables my chores had been done for me, which was a rare and welcome surprise! So I spent most of the day helping himself on the trailer that we've bought to 'do up.'

Friends due for dinner in half an hour, and the Roast Lamb smells sooooooooo yummy there may be none left when they get here. LOL
