    The Vine
Giving gifts, especially home grown/made produce
My cat. Everything about the little fuzzball.
    Exmoor ponies. So fabulous.
The smell of both the above (I shoved my nose deep into Henry's fur last night - fantastic!).
    Kicking leaves
The sight of cobwebs strung across paths, glinting in the sun.
    Deer grazing in the field.
The village where I live. Sure, people know what I'm doing before I do, but for example, when I had my accident 2 years ago, I found a patio rose bush on my doorstep, from the 'Good Companions' and a lovely houseplant when I was ill.
People who take the time to say Thank You properly, i.e. call by your house and hug you for doing something nice.
Doing something nice - makes me all warm and fuzzy!
A good gallop. Especially on an exmoor, whose legs are half the length of Wayne's.
OH, who supports me in everything I do (and services my car for free).
    Walking in the rain.
The first snow fall of the year.
A cup of tea after a cold outdoors experience!
Planting/sowing anything and watching it grow.
Looking forward to a new job (when I handed in notice at my last job, the thought of leaving made me ill for 2 weeks. I will NEVER make the mistake of ignoring my instincts again!!).
Food shopping - beats clothes shopping hands down!
Having what turns out to be a lengthy chat with a complete stranger (and being sorry to leave them).
    Good service in shops.

Is everybody all warm and glowy inside, yet??

The smell of salt in the air, I reeeally miss living on the coast, so the first lungful of sea breeze when I visit is pure heaven.

          Today, I loved
          - the way "my" blackbird flies onto the garden wall when I get home and sings to me
          - when the kids at school stopped talking for one minute and got on with their work
          - when one particularly challenging child gave me a hug
          - getting an almost-decent night's sleep, instead of waking up every couple of hours
          - when someone moved aside for me and I could smile and say thank you
          - when the guinea pigs got so delighted to have a bit of kale
          - darkness, so I could put on my snuggly dressing gown and start reading my book (it feels indecent if done before 7pm)

I know what you mean Wayne. There is nothing more gratifying than holding a baby until it falls asleep.
