There are some lovely pictures on Facebook - they are very beautiful and she says they are not identical. They all look well and relaxed. I expect she's a bit busy with babies and visitors at the moment thoughA garden is a lovesome thing, God wot! (Thomas Edward Brown)

Hiya all
Thanks for you all asking after us. I AM VERY VERY VERY happy - great innit!!!! I also dont seem to get much time to myself. Scarey has offered to somehow put pictures from bookface on here and I have said I will have a go myself now but if it doesnt happen by 6pm then I have probaly got distracted by my bundles of joy and have given her permission to try.
My body (women will know in what way) has been trying to tell me to slow down which I have been finding very frustrating but am trying to do as I am told for a little longer at least. Girls are doing very well, the HV is due tomorrow for their first weigh in since being born. They are sleeping from 4am to around 11am-1pm sort of time and then feeding every 3 hours till around 7pm and then are constantly wanting to snack till they finaly settle at 4am again! I have started to go to bed at 9pm or thereabouts and then Mr D holds the fort by feeding with the milk I have managed to express during the quieter times. He then brings them up to bed around midnight and I take over as he can sleep through their screaming. So although its in 2 stints I am getting a fairly decent 6 hours sleep. Once Mr D goers back to work next week I will try and have a sleep with the girls after the school run as well.
I am quite excited to have got into my jeans this am - thats only 10 days since birth!!!! Feel very proud of myself and its quite the incentive to carry on eating sensibly and I am looking forward to the school run helping me get my BMI to a healthier level for the first time in years!!!!
Right will try pictures now - if I am not out of the photo editor in 2 hours send in a search party will you!!!!

You might find that doing the school run helps to get them into the routine, I used to wake DD up about an hour before we left, feed, change, then into the pram. She initially didn't want the feed, and went straight to sleep in the pram, but within a week or so the pattern started to work well and she was sleeping from about 2am through to 6 or 7am. Quite bearable with an afternoon nap
Glad to hear you sounding so happy anyway, that's the main thingLast edited by SarzWix; 15-10-2009, 04:20 PM.
