And that's exactly why we need to get rid of government (at least, the kind we currently have - once they go beyond things like defence, law enforcement, corrections and the like things start to go wrong).

I just wish they'd all go away and leave us alone.

I think the power is with the people more than ever before - don't know if anyone noticed the recent overturning of a superinjunction through the power of Twitter this week! So oil companies and their dastardly deeds have been exposed!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

        A face-saving exercise.

Freedom is still at an all time low and that's a sure sign the power really isn't with the people.

If I want to blow the top of my head off with a cocktail of recreational drugs (I can't think of many things I'd like to do less), I can't do it legally or without funding hardened criminals.
If I want to defend my home against an intruder I face prison.
If I want to educate my children (when I have them) my way I'm not allowed.
I have to take half of my clothes off to get onto a plane and can't even bring my trust pocket knife on holiday without checked baggage. (And even then, bringing one into the airport is a serious criminal offence.)
I've got a share of a massive national debt that's been built up by people I don't even want to exist, let alone run the country.
The list of freedoms we don't have (speech, assembly, protest and more besides) is utterly immense.

Granted, it's far harder for the scumbags in charge to do things unnoticed in these days of instant communication, it doesn't seem to make much difference to the steady march of the ruling class taking more and more from all of us.

I'm going out for a dohnut before I get really upset about all of this.

Krispy Kreme is proof that God exists and wants us to be happy.

Blimey. I only thought the picture was funny. I didn't expect the Spanish Inquisition.
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?
