MrsC (we met up at our plot a year or so ago) and Alison are very close, Inky is too, Nicos is not too far off (when she's in the UK - we've met her, and a lovely lady she is too!), DexterDogLancashire and a few others arent too far away, YoandBob (firm friends we see a few times a year) and Sarzwix arent too far away (met Sarzwix at YoanBob's wedding prezzie digging day along with DiggerDave n a few others), met Pigletwillie at his place when we were in that neck of the woods a while back, met up with Madmax and Shirl the Girl for a camping trip to Shell Island last year, and Flum lives near to Mr D's folks who live in Hull, (but havent yet met her!)
I went to a company conference recently and drove past the base that Piskieinboots lives on (but hadnt got the number with me or the time to stop otherwise I'd have called in!)
Other than that no idea who's local to us! Lol!Blessings

Seems the nearest to me as the googlemap flies is BumbleB, and that is almost 33 miles away. What a lonely neck of the woods I live in. Thank heavens for the Vine then

Was just gonna post that there are a few of us around Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire.

Okeydokey here are my neighbours:
On my left, there's a lady called some thing similar to Erron (normally on the Chicken Forum) in Cambridge which is approx 6 miles, then I think it's a toss up between G4 in North Essex and the lovely Redthorn in Bishop Stortford depending on where G4 actually is of course.
On my right it's the lovely Janeyo at 10.6 miles near Ely
And behind me it's another lovely lady, Kirsty (not Haley B as I'd previously put), in Haverhill (12ish miles) then another lovely lady, Andi&Di with Matthew Riches in Ipswich (not Norwich as previously accused) followed by yet another lovely lady Rustylady in Lowestoft (approx 85 miles)
Note to self: I must pay MORE attention to my geography - sorry everyone
(We have lots of lovely ladies in East Anglia dontcha know)Last edited by lizzylemon; 18-10-2009, 08:13 PM.

I tried last year to get a postcode thread going, but a strike put paid to that one (or it will next week).
Geographically (being near Grimsby) my nearest are those in Louth (not the Irish version) and Lincoln, with Beverley not far behind.
When folks say "20mins away" - is that walking, driving, flying time? (he jokes)The cats' valet.

I can't be far from dogsbody (I'm in Lincoln) and I think there are a few other occasional posters quite near me. Apart from that, it's probably Tricky and Flum.I was feeling part of the scenery

There is someone (can't remember who) in Great Dunmow, which I think is my nearest Grape neighbour at about 12 miles away. Around the same distance, but in different directions is KirstyB to the west, and Iamhanuman to the east. Then it's RedThorn to the west in Bishop's Stortford, and the Colchester contingent to the east, both of which are about 22 miles away.
Of these I've only met the 'Nutter'All the best - Glutton 4 Punishment
Freelance shrub butcher and weed removal operative.

I still think Darkcrystal & myself must be the closest though as we can(& do) talk to each other from our door steps.Last edited by bubblewrap; 17-10-2009, 09:32 PM.The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.
