And despite anything that so many people seem to want to say it "usually" aligns to - it has NOTHING to do with right and left handedness.

I don't know quite what people mean with what foot or hand you dig with, but I'm right handed...
Right hand on top of spade/fork/shovel and left hand on the shaft, left foot towards the business end of the tool and right back...
When surfing or snowboarding I lead with my right foot (Goofy footed).

Quite how that fits into what people are saying is beyond me - but that people have different mixtures is to be expected.

I'm right handed and left footed but also I can swap around if needed (except writing). It may be interesting to find out which eye people use to lead with too- most of us have a dominant eye (to test, peer at something through a hole in a piece of paper- you will move to the dominant eye) - I'm left eyed as well. We used to look at this kind of thing when working with children with dyslexia but I'm not sure it really helped us to any conclusions! Some people are strongly lateral - either right or left.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Like my Dad I'm long-sighted right/short-sighted left (only very slightly), but I'm right eye dominant. Only discovered that after an eye test about 3 years ago, it explains why I get tired eyes whilst reading!

I am right handed, but left footed. I found that out when I started playing football at uni. I drink with my left hand, too. Most annoying when buying novelty mugs with bumpy bits on the 'wrong' side, or travel mugs.

Oh no, not just left handed and left footed then, but now I discover I'm left eyed too.
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.

Majorly right handed, and footed, apart from ski-ing (left side dominant apparently) and archery (left eye dominant so left hand shot). Only did both for a wee while, so it didn't exactly change my life

The card dealing thing made me think, when playing with friends etc i deal with my left hand but when i used to work in the casinos i dealt with my right hand. Other than that i am right handed.

I dig with my left foot but do most other things with my right foot.
