I'm quite a tightwad; and proud of it.

I was called to a meeting on friday and so booked a train ticket from Derby to London return [2 singles] yesterday; and today i've found out that I've got another more important meeting that I have to attend locally; so I can't go to london.

The swines won't refund.

I hate it when that happens.

If the first one is any other day, then we'd meet somewhere not london and thus I'd drive; it's only because it is stratford that I decided to take the train.

I was going to suggest that.
Maybe it could be shifted on the Moneysaving Expert forum too. I'm sure some of the tightwads on there (I'm one of them) would like to make a nice saving like that.

Good philosophy PW -it took me a while to chill when money was being wasted but now I'm a lot happier for thinking - hey, it's only money!
