I know how you feel fionah, just driven to Watford, for work ,parked and lots of smelly smoke invading the car- very scary!! Did the visit after phoning OH whose best advice was- 'maybe it'll catch fire on the way home and we can get rid of it!!'-then as it had cooled down, drove home VERY carefully ( as in BMW just over 40 miles an hour along the A1, right next to the hard shoulder.sorry if any one passed me!) Got to phone garage now and just know it's going to cost lots.

I knew I was doing something wrong!

Its getting a new battery as we speak, that should hold a charge long enough to get it to the garage next week. Then the alternator and speedo array can get fixed. £££££££££££££££

Trouble is I have early morning meetings next week in the middle of no where, may have to taxi it, more money.

Going to cheer myself up by doing all the flaming washing up MrH and the lads left from last night. Can you tell I am seriously hacked off? I dont rant often on here but

My day did indeed get better. My friend who went into a hospice on wednesday is feeling much much better and will be home on Monday, hopefully

As far as Im concerned today has been a complete write off! Apart from everything going wrong that Ive touched, tried to do etc etc. Ive had my hair coloured. Ive got home and its a complete disaster!! Trouble is, I can only ring the hairdresser on Monday (that's if shes open then). Will have to take precious time off work (if I can) to go and get it sorted. Not a happy bunny! The sooner today ends the better!
PS Photos are not an option- just imagine someone who has grey hair having a pink type rinse - I look like a ******** poodle!
I need some virtual hugs please!
