To be honest, it's losing it's appeal for me. Too much "forced" humour and buddy buddy-ness.

10pm's a no go-er for me, especially when Bean wakes up at 5:15am.

Oh, well, at least it's only repeats.

I have to agree. It's just as easy not to watch at 10.00 p.m. as 8.30.

When will the programme makers realise that GYO and gardening are hugely popular now and start to make some programmes we DO want to watch?! I'm left scrabbling around for progs I want to watch on the speciality channels and UK TV Gardens ceased to exist about a week after I found it on SKY+.

I stopped watching it after the first few of this year, not the same since Monty left - I just can't seem to get into the new lot

I believe Alys is doing a 6 part special to be shown around Xmas or the new year, this will be instead of of a Gardeners World Xmas special as the budget wont run to both.

There will also, I believe, a few specials by Carol Klein due around the same time.

I also gave up with GW earlier in the year.

AUTUMN WATCH will now start at 8.30pm Fridays from 30.10.09, Unsprung will follow straight after as normal.

                I Thank you.

Because of Carol, I threw in my job last year (well a redundancy helped) and became a gardener full time.

It was Carols sheer enthusiasm that got me hooked, I have met her many times since and gardening is her life, not showbiz or status.

I am now happier than I have ever been and thank her very much.
