Thanks everyone, we've broken up for half term now, so a good feeling, despite a sore throat and runny nose.
It's raining here, so I don't feel so disappointed that I can't get outside. DD and son No2 bought me the 1st two series of Jam and Jerusalem on DVD and a bottle of mead, which will help the throat. I'd already had a new laptop, so OH bought me a couple of books, and a friend popped round last night with a pressie of home made jam, and The Best of Mrs Beeton's Kitchen Garden. It looks very interesting, but the print is tiny. I will HAVE to use those reading glasses!! What with those and the grey hairs
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!
