    Dogs in clothes

Here is a picture of Max taken just before Xmas...

He's a proper little ASBO teenager!

He was only wearing it as he had recently been castrated and had lost a bit of weight since the op. It was freezing cold outside, so whilst we worked in the garden, he would sit and wear his hoodie so he didn't get too cold.

Of course, now he's too grown up and dignified to wear a hoodie.... see:

Max looks cool in his hoodie! Dexter was only wearing his suit so his Aunty Margaret could see what he looked like! I nearly lost a finger putting on his hat! He's such as gentle dog, but hates weariing his coat, and as for the santa outfit, well, I did choose the best photo - the other ones show how disgusted he was with the whole thing! DDL

Enjoyed meeting your babies DDL. Loved Dexter's outfit. Made me laugh.
          Nice looking dog OWG.

When my daughter was a toddler we had a very tame cat who would let her dress her up in babygrows and other baby clothes and push her about in a pram. Sadly I don't have a pic.

When I was a child I had a really "posh" Silver Cross dolls pram. Did I put dolls in it? Oh no! I had a toy apricot poodle (the smallest of the breed - not a toy!) and used to take him for "walkies" in the dolls pram! Perhaps I'd better not tell Dexter........! DDL

Max is gorgeous OWG! He's very similar to Tess the boxer we used to have, she had bare patches on either side due to a hormone problem & could have done with a hoodie but refused to wear anything! Someone we know had a boxer called Max & when he died he got another & called it-- Max, popular name.

Max obviously has a sense of occasion! looks extremely cool

I've always had cats in my life and they've all had their own names. Unfortunately our currnet cats were sort of named by No 1 son when he was younger and they were tiny kittens - Squeak doesn't really suit a big bruiser of a neutred tom cat, but wasa amusing when he was tiny. Bubbles is a scaredy cat (still a neutred tom though).

Budgies obviously can be called Joey, they are all from the same flock!

I love that OWG It really suits him. My wifes boss bought his lurcher (flynn) a camoflague tee shirt cos he's got a big white patch that shows up when he goes rabbiting at night

Mandyballantyne there is a dogs piccy thread in general chitchat. I'd take pics of the guinea pigs if they would hold still long enough without being bribed with cucumber.

What a lovely story Nick. I'm sure she will bring you much joy.

Max is lovely...but I'm another cocker fan. In fact, Santa's coming late to my house because I'm picking up my pup in a week's time. Had a bit of a hard time persuading the old man, but burglars in the area just after Christmas did the trick. They got into a near neighbours and ransacked the house while they were all asleep. Didn't get away with much though as a neighbour rumbled them but a dog would have helped ..... at least that was my argument. Hope she can bark!

Max would lick any burglars to death.

He barks at absolutely nothing, but if there is something there, just stands and looks at it.

Mind you, we've got dangerous leaves and sticks around, which get attacked very often.

                              He's sort of a "reverse" guard-dog!

Boo, our boxer, never used to bark, but now she's found her voice! I always know if someone's coming to the door now. For some reason, its my eldest stepson is the one that gets the most verbal from the dog.
