    Urmmm..I think if you buy supermarket eggs- you really have no idea how old they are- at least 2 weeks- and it probably is a good idea to store in the fridge.
    If you buy fresh/collect your own- then there probably isn't any need to!

          I think we've had a similar thread to this before? If I remember correctly you could keep eggs in a fridge if you liked but it was better to take them out and let them get up to room temperature before using them!


          PS I mourn the demise of the good old fashioned pantry!

                  Eggs best stored at pantry temps. If the house is too warm, you need to put them in the fridge. We have a semi-outside place where the eggs are stored. Shop bought, even in summer keep 2 weeks no problem.
                  Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
