I can't grow catnip here - the cat population is so dense it gets massacred as soon as I plant it out! I get a garden full of spaced out kitties!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Mine love it! what a mess they make of the kitchen floor though...kitty dribble everywhere!
      Fantastic to watch them.
They love the plant too, after a good session they surface with muddy dribble faces...such a good look for a cat!!!!! NOT

Got another catnip lover here- but not until he was about 3 yrs old- and then he suddenly took an interest in it!
I always buy a tub of it at Xmas and leave it under the tree- needless to say it tends to need re-wrapping several times before Xmas morning!!!

About 25 years ago my sister was very indignant that all the neighbourhood cats came and demolished her catnip plant. I managed NOT to ask her what she expected when she planted their favourite smell.....
Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.

Not sure I have ever seen catnip bubbles Pipkins - what are they? I'm up for giving anything new a try, specially if it involves a bit of feline fun and frolics

Rosco goes for the herb, but not really the catnip toys. He likes the pure stuff, Grade A...You know, the high street value stuff! My herbal friend gave me some a couple of years ago and I used to let him stick his head in the bag. Very amusing!

Oh, Pipkins - thank you so much for the link, - got a sneaky suspicion I am going to be spending a fortune, not only on my cats but also for my friends who love felines!
