    What am I doing wrong?

    Okay so I decided to get one of these avatar thingy's . I followed some easy peasy instructions from GingerNinger and although I couldn't find the pic I wanted I found a picture of a friendly looking house we saw on holiday. Then to my horror the picture appeared sideways . So I thought okay that was an experiment I'll change it for a right way round picture. I've now found the picture I want but every time I try to upload it it fails. (I've also tried a different one). Please help else I'll have to ask OH and that will just confirm the fact that I'm totally useless at this computer stuff.

    Click on "Quick Links" above.
    Click on "Edit your details".
    In Settings & Options, click "Edit Avatar"
    From there I would assume you can upload a new one.

        Not sure why the upload is failing, but it could be cos the pic is too big. It's supposed to get automatically resized when you upload it but I've had problems in the past. Can you rotate the house and then upload that again?

        Max size for avatars is 80x80 pixels or 19.5 kb whichever is smaller.

          Well I think I've discovered that the pic I want is a Tif? and maybe it should be jpeg ?????
          Cos I tried the link that two sheds sent and it told me so . Back to the drawing board..........

            I DID IT IT WORKED I'M SO PROUD OF MYSELF!!!!!!

            Now I might even be ready to tackle one of these blog thingys!!
