I don't have trouble with the length but like Piskie have to buy huge sizes so they fit across the front!

Can anyone explain why you rarely see a t-shirt with a v neck either?

I've got one on now; black V neck cotton M&S.

Too flipping short at the back; which is what triggered this off this morning.

Me thinks there is a back & front problem here..........

Have you looked at cyclists' clothing? It's cut longer at the back, for crouching over the handlebars...so is good for digging too

If I wear anything that needs tucking in, it usually tucks in OK as I'm short waisted. Usually I wear unisex Polo or Rugby Shirts. They're wide enough to go round my round bits and long enough to cover most of my backside. I don't tuck 'em in, coz my trews would be too tight and I'd look like a sack of cack Instead, I leave 'em out and look like a Weeble

I wear these - I used them for marathon training in the winter. Now they get used for gardening in sub zero temps Outdoormania - Outdoor clothing, walking gear Craghoppers Montane Regatta

Needless to say, mine don't have the ladies bumps in the front

I've got my winter vest top on today ... it's cut extra long so I can tuck it into my long johns! It's from here: MandMDirect.com

I couldn't wear thermals unless I had to sit still in the cold all day. I'm a hot body (LOL ) and sweat like the proverbial as soon as I have to do anything, so I just wear several thin cotton layers that I can take off and put on again if I need to.

Bit of a faff really tbh

Even the 'longer length' ones in M&S aren't all that long.

The Lidl ones are long, mine are about 4 inches below the trouser top and you can get either Mens or Womens shapes.

I usually buy XL tee shirts but decided to buy an XXL tee shirt this time (as my muscles were expanding) Yeah right Snadge!.
Anyway,it's absolutely huge and could probably have been modelled by Luciano Pavorotti!

Lengths deffo not a problem with this one...............in fact I now have my very own 'willy warmer'!

I have a couple of Kangaroo Poo t-shirts and they are very long, even on me. I bought mine 2XL and they're not to baggy, but definitely nice and long.

The other obvious choice is basketball t-shirts, or the Big/Tall shops. Long Tall Sally may well have longer length t-shirts, but they won't be cheap.

On another note - regarding short t-shirts and v-necks. Simon Cowell anyone? Maybe that's why he has his troos up so high...

I often resort to wearing a dress under my tops in winter...just to keep that middle bit covered.

I'd like a size 14 babygrow with mittens and hood for warmth and perhaps a flap down area for comfort breaks without stripping down

I'm a hoarder so am digging out some old baggy long t-shirts to tuck in because I also have a very painful rash on my tummy from the metal studs on my jeans.
