That's BRILLIENT NEWS, I really hope they give him the full hour back as well, (mind you half a hour is all I could stand with this new line up) I'm not a big fan of the afternoon program, but I really have missed the TICH on GARDENERS WORLD........I won't be resurrecting my crush on him tho ...Big shame Monty isn't joining him.

I think the Producers have much to look to themselves for in terms of falling viewer numbers.

I like Toby, Alys, Joe and Carol and think they all have much to offer as gardeners - but the format doesn't work. The prospect of a newly developed garden was exciting, it isn't coming through in reality

Can they bring back Alan, but with Monty's voice?

I've seen films where they do that kind of stuff, so it must be possible.

Superb idea - from a laydee's point of view Monty Titchmarsh (sounds better than Alan Don) would be AWESOME

Great news, just read it in the news paper too....

I like Toby a lot but NOT on GW,
                and Carols just great always.

I hardly ever watch it since the change, but would once watch every episode- some several times over!

Please, please come back Alan! I like Toby & love Carol but although I've tried to like it I just don't 'get' the new format & haven't watched many of this series at all.

Please tell me Alys will be staying. I could listen to and watch her all day.
It is the doom of man, that they forget.

I will believe it when I actually see it...

And does this mean they will have to change gardens again?!

Not particularly a Titchmarsh fan but I didn't watch it for personalities. At least they now realise it's not working and real gardeners don't want gimmicks and trashy presentation.

Not really been too keen on GW not enough on veggie growing and I don't like it's present format. Hopefully the return of AT will bring a big improvement to the programme. Used to like it in years gone by when it was Geoff Hamilton presenting it and then when they had that guy with the long plait.(can't remember his name... senior moment!).

Bob Flowerdew? I'm like Alice - I tape the programme and then whizz through it to pick out the veggie bits, but there aren't very many of them. I used to watch it all, but it has become very boring. I don't think it's the presenters, it's the format.
