My parents are both published/broadcast writers (though it's extremely unlikely you'd have heard of either of them!). I used to go out with the Sugarcubes sound engineer. I used to work for one of the Queen's bridesmaids.
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."

Was on the same ward as Ron Haslam over Christmas 1991 in Nottingham after I broke his ankle. Didn't see him as he was in a private room but he got one of the nurses in a right fluster. Apparently he'd been mucking about with his son (not sure if it was Leon or if he has others too) on bikes and fallen off.

Lol - should read my posts properly before I press submit reply! Think it may have been his leg he had broken but honest, I wasn't there.

Nor was he there when I broke my ankle.

              Phew, glad that's clear.

I once shared an evening with a female cousin of James Dean, I kicked Geoff Capes in the leg at Crystal Palace when I was very small and he was very big.
I was at a do in Lebanon with Salman Rushdie which was truly bizarre. Have met big Lizzie on several occasions, got steaming drunk with Oliver Reid in Jersey, told Jim Davidson his jokes were crap outside a jewellers in London (yes I may have had a lager) and once, drunk, in Tortolla in the British Virgin Islands sang Wonderful Tonight whilst Mr Clapton played guitar and Tommy Hilfigger (sp) played drums.
Have looked after several politicians, both British and from abroad and found them all to be unpleasant and arrogant as clients, although one has since gone on to be a close personal friend.

Not at all disrespectful, we're on first name terms.
Just so happens she thinks my first name is "Christ, not him AGAIN!!"

How could I have forgotten, I once spent 8 hours fishing in a boat with Vinnie Jones, really decent bloke who quite clearly hasnt forgotten his roots, but the funniest person I have ever met, again I was fishing with him, was Bernard Cribbins. Fished a little chalk stream near Andover for about 4 hours with him, and hurt from laughing for about 3 days afterwards, so funny.
