I was sat watching Sean Lock's stand up on Youtube and he made a joke about chicken kievs (I won't go into it), and got a hunger for them. So tonight I'm having them with gravy, mashed potatoes with cheese and herbs and green beans.
EDIT: I discovered a butternut squash in my cupboard, so I'm roasting it with lemon garlic and onion. Would have put some rosemary on it, but I can't get to my back garden...it's a long story!
What's on your menu?
As an aside:
When I was at school in the Midlands, my parents made me call the evening meal 'supper', while all my friends and their families called it 'dinner' (they also called school lunch 'dinner', very confusing for a child). These days I call it 'tea', just because that's what everyone in Hull calls it. What's your preference?
(By-the-way, there is no right or wrong answer; this isn't one of those 'lets start a debate' threads )
