Okay, I admit I can be dense and plain daft sometimes (it's not a put down, I can be as daft as a brush) It's been suggested that my hubby gets a wii or some sort of computer game to help with hand/eye co-ordination. So we bought a game called Humans (anyone with a 3 year old may have this game), it took us 10 mins just to get started Fabulous graphics and music but perhaps something more mature may be appropriate. We've both used/tried wii's, so what I want to know are they worth the expense? or is there something better? (PSP,XBOX eh? I'm lost) Last bit of info we don't like violent/horror games. Alternatively can I borrow someone's 3 year old and they can show us how to play Humans

We have had great fun with Wii sports. I love the bowling game and there are other ones (free with the console I think) such as tennis, golf and baseball which really test hand/eye etc. If you get one, one warning - watch out for the boxing. It is brilliant fun but by heck you hurt next dayHappy Gardening,

Wii is pretty good but so are the ps3 xbox's etc. My son has a Wii and a ps3 and generally prefers the ps3. I think it really depends on what type of games you are after. Both consoles have been good for his hand/eye co-ordination (he has cerebral palsy) but if you get a Wii make sure you have plenty of space as it invloves a lot of waving arms about etc.
I would recommend going on a couple of game sites and looking at the games available for the different consoles. That my help you decide which way to go.

I always see it as the Wii is a much more inclusive game console, and PS3/Xbox are more for the "gamers".
Wii is more social if you like. In my opinion.
Wii always take ours to Centre Parcs for when the weather's rubbish. Wii've just bought the winter games one where you can play toboganning (sp?). You line up four chairs one behind the other and sit as you would in a four man bob.
One other game which might be worth looking at for hand-eye co-ordination is Wario Smooth Moves. It's a great game that doesn't take much thinking and each "game" only lasts 10-20 seconds. It's a great group game to play, and even more so if you're having a drink or five.A simple dude trying to grow veg. http://haywayne.blogspot.com/

Know I'm coming to this thread a bit late, but I would certainly say the Wii is better for hand-eye co-ordination. I have both XBox360 and Wii and because the Wii remote reacts to how you move the controller rather than which buttons/sticks you push it has to win hands down in that respect. Agree with all the other comments too, Wii is far more sociable. I have Wii Play, Wii Fit and Wii Sports and am hoping OH will get me Wii Fit Plus for Xmas. I think my favourite is still the cow racingThere are 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't.
