Ginger's right, just be yourself Ollie... the right lady will show up, just not when you are expecting it! You will know when you find her!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

How is the facial hair coming along Ollie? Did you decide to go for it, or keep it clean (shaven that is)

Maybe our Ollie is just not ready for it yet.
Why should he want to find "The One" It might be more fun just looking.
By the way he looks and the way he cooks he probably has a queue.

And I've not decided on this. I'm thinking short and stubbly, how I was when I met her on Friday night. It's a tad too long right now.

Go clean shaven, you don't want to give your date stubble rash

I've just been reading your last girlfriend left because you are too nice, daft mare (sorry). My hubby is the softest, kindest, gentlest giant of a man. He was told by ex's you're "too nice", then I met him and thought (among many things) you're mine! Don't change Ollie, just be yourself and the right woman will be along.

The person you'll end up with will probably not be 'your type'

I always wanted; tall, dark, handsome, comfortably-off and slightly older than me.

I got; shortish, mousey, plain, pauper thats 4 years younger than me.

I wouldn't swap 'im for the world!

Have a fab time tho Ollie!

I know I started all this Ollie (sorry).

I hope you have a really great evening, and some (numbered) tips from me...

                        1) Be yourself,
                        2) Dress appropriately for the venue (ie, if its a nice restaurant, make and effort, but if its a pub you can be a bit more rock'n'roll),
                        3) Wear a nice smellie that she'll remember (but not too much!!)
                        4) Don't ask her to go halvesies on the bill
                        5) Be yourself, again - I completely agree with Frostyfreckle, my OH was overlooked by women for being too nice - more fool them I say. In my youth I thought I wanted a good looking bad boy (with motorbike), but they're no good long-term. Luckily, love found me when I stopped looking for it.
                        6) Have fun!!

                        P(Numbers)B xx

P.S. Can I be adoptive older sister rather than Mum please GN?

Sorry folks, I only adopt mums.
Doesn't matter if you're older, younger, female or male!

I call all my mates' and girlfriends' mums "mum".
And anyone who posts advice on a thread about how I should behave on a date is definately a mother figure.
It'd be just like my mum to say all the things you guys have said as if I've never been on a date before!

                          All much appreaciated though

                              Ollie,

If she offers to split the bill 'tis up to you if you refuse or accept. If you refuse, you could suggest that she leaves the tip.

                              Not so wise proverbs:

                              Treat 'em mean, Keep 'em keen;

Get 'em young, treat 'em rough and tell 'em nothing

Probably best to be yourself, I think.

                              Have a lovely evening.
If a thing's worth doing, it's worth doing to excess
