I love Fairytale of New York, it's a great sing-a-long. The only problem is I've heard it about 5 times already in the last few days so I might get fed up of it by Christmas! Also love some corny ones like 'Last Christmas'- Wham/George Michael!
I like most carols especially In the Bleak Midwinter, Away in a Manger, Hark the Herald Angels, all choke me up when sung by a choir in a church or a group of little children.

The one by Greg Lake gives me goose bumps, but I like them all! I'm just a big softie really!

They all get on my wick, except for proper choirs singing proper hymns & carols... But the worst offender is that flaming Kirsty McColl (sp?) and the pogues It's not even about Christmas really, more like a domestic in song form, and I LOATHE it!!!!

Well, I've joined the Bookface group to buy "Killing in the Name" by Rage Against the Machine. Just to try and keep the bladdy X-phincter song from the No1 Christmas spot.

Yeah, me too HW. It's in my 7digital 'basket' ready to check-out on the 14th December.

I used to like a lot of the 'popular' Christmas records, but they've all been soooo overplayed that they make me all 'Bah-humbug' now.

I worked in an American themed bar/club for a couple of years. I hate most of the "Christmas" songs as a result. Every chuffin' night for weeks on end up to the day.

As soon as I hear Noddy shout "IIITTTT'SSS CHRRRIIIIIIIIIIIISTMAAAAAAAAAASSSS!" I go cold inside.

I've worked in (what was) Great Mills and a large petrol station, and have exactly the same reaction

A boys/church choir singing Silent Night or something though, that's magic
