Armageddon. Small green house blew over last week it had 120+ broad bean seedlings I managed to salvage about half of them & I will plant out next week(weather permitting).
Weather at moment windy & wet ugh!
The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

      Dirty days hath September
      April June and November
      From January up to May
The rain it raineth every day
      All the rest have thirty-one
Without a blessed gleam of sun
And if any of them had two-and-thirty
They'd be just as wet and twice as dirty.

We've had rain and wind all day, with a bit of thunder to go with it. So I've stayed in making Christmas cards, drinking tea and eating flapjack hope I can still eat my dinner.

Oh heck Brengirl, that's really pessimistic! It's been wet and windy here again today (wind woke me up at 4 am), but not as bad as people further north. Hope they're doing Ok now. Any grapes had real bad problems? Anything we can do to help-?

Ditto what rusty said about other Grapes - it's been foul here for most of the last week, but we're very lucky compared to others in Cumbria and surrounding area. Hope everyone's OK?
