Spag bol, made with a jar of homemade pasta sauce, and the OH & #1 son are in the middle of making a pumpkin pie. I'm guessing I'll get the rest of the pumpkin to deal with tomorrow

Only leftovers from yesterday I'm afraid. Mind you, made too much on purpose just so I could have it again today! Roast beef, yorkshire pudding, mash, sprouts, carrots, parsnips and roast potatoes with home made "proper" gravy.

Hi Bren - it's a madey up one I'm afraid so a bit "chuck in a pot and stir".
Soften onion and garlic, add chopped chilli (I used a couple I'd pickled and a couple of tsp of the pickling liquor), add some paprika (I used hot as like my food spicey!), add a chopped red pepper, add chopped ready cooked Italian herb sausages (sometimes use chorizo and leave out the extra paprika), add mixed beans (whatever you have either fresh, dried and re-soaked, or a tin), then add some chopped tomatoes (or again a tin if it's more convenient), pop lid on and cook out for about 10 mins. Dish into bowls and break some tortillas over the top to add some crunch.

It's a really easy and yummy dish which doesn't take much time or thought so is perfect for week nights!
