Mac help anyone?

I'm a total dur with computers and can chat here and go shopping online and that's about it. So, don't assume any prior knowledge of anything...

We've got a new Mac and it's so idiot/Rhona proof that I've had no problems. However, our little girl smashed her little fists all over the keyboard earlier and it's 'gone a bit funny' since.

The problems are; funny black boxes appearing when I type something; pictures on websites not appearing, and a Stephen Hawking-type voice talking over some websites.

Can anyone help? It's a bit annoying!

It may sound like a cliche, but have you tried switching it off and on again?

Not sure about the first 2 but try this for the talking web sites:

Click on apple icon (top left corner)
Click on 'System Preferences'
Look for 'system' area (mine is 4 section down)
Click on 'Speech' or Microphone icon
Second line down should read: Speakable Items - on / off
Change to off if applicable
Quit System Preferences

Like I said - no idea for the black cursor but that might be under system preferences too - in fact check the cursor settings
Also the web thing sounds like picture blocking but I can't remember how to change that.

Also if this works, let me know please. Mine daughter also loves the apple - gets it to do all sorts that I never knew existed - bless!
