With myself more than anything.
Had a busy morning playing and feeding Bean, providing a place to sleep for the guy (on me) and so on. Got ready to go out at about 2pm.
"Unlocked" the car and put Bean in his car seat.
Walked round to the drivers door and noticed that the armrest was wide open (where I keep my CD's), as was the cup holder, the glove box, the little drawer by the side of the steering wheel, the centre console bit under the stereo - receipts all over the place (I lazily chuck them in the centre console bit), the sunglasses holder above the rear view mirrow...
I then noticed that the receipts were all over the place and thought to myself - "hang on"
Yep someone else had been in my car - and I didn't invite them.
Well, maybe just a bit.
I noticed that the lock hadn't been tampered with - no windows had been broken. I must have left it unlocked.
D'oh!
Luckily I don't keep anything valuable in the car - apart from maybe my Ray Ban sunglasses, but they didn't seem interested in those.
Equally - they apparently don't have any taste in music as they left the lot.
All they'd taken was the change I keep for car parks etc in the little drawer thing. I think there was a fiver and some shrapnel - maybe £8-9 max.
Wasn't going to bother reporting it, but LadyWayne insisted - that's another story.
Moral of the story - make sure your car is definitely locked even if you have one of the key-fob thingy's. Oh, that and don't leave anything of value in the car.
