I Love You.

The 3 little words that mean so much, I try to tell my OH that I love him every day (because i do), I show it by being supportive, cooking, running his bath when he comes home from work, letting him have the remote when the footballs on, things like that...
A very close friend of ours who lost his wife to breast cancer 11 months ago, came out with use at the weekend (only the second time since he lost his wife), and after a few too many drinks he told me he misses it being said to him, this made me cry....a lot.
But it got me thinking!!
Do you tell your OH enough? How do you show your OH that you love them?

I don't think I do actually. If I started now he would think I wanted something lol. NO!, you are so right. I will tell him now.........

I tell him all the time. A few things have happened in the last couple of years that make you realise life is too short. Just wish it would be said back to me sometimes.....

EDIT: It is a man thing!! I know he does love me, and he shows me in lots of different ways, but it would be nice to hear the words occasionally! He's not especially tactile either, so we are kind of like chalk and cheese, but it works

Yes, we tell each other all the time, every single time we part, too, making our friends vomit in the process, even after 5 years.

This does not stop me threatening him with running away with Daniel Craig. Got to keep them trying, you know, tee hee!

OH says "Me too", a bit like "Ditto" of Ghost, its not very often he actually says "I love you", I think its a man thing!

I tell my OH that I love him quite a lot, but I don't expect him to say 'I love you' just because I've said it, and vice versa. We each pick our moments to say it, kiss, and leave it there. It took a while to get used to that (I'm a very touchy-feely person), but now I find it quite sweet - we're not saying it because we feel we should.

We tell each other all the time....aww! I often find little notes all over the house, especially when he has to go away....oh and I always hide a little note or card in his bag for him to open when he gets to his 'hotel'! And we are always texting each other...........suppose we are still in the 'honeymoon period'!

And he says it other times too, and if he's away from home we spend at least an hour every night just chatting. I can honestly say he's my best mate as well as my OH, and I know he says the same about me
His way of showing he loves me is going up to the supermarket for a bar of chocolate when I'm feeling down, and feeding all the livestock if he knows I'm kn******d

Yep, every day. I think it, and say it to him frequently, probably a few times each day, and mean it every single time. Not just out of habit, if you know what I mean.

Hubby and I say I love you all of the time. When hubby is going through a lot (medically) he likes hugs, I just wish he was a lot shorter and then I wouldn't put my back out everytime I try and hug him. Actually he likes hugs all of the time My marriage vows mean a lot to me. I'll call hubby Mr Frosty from now on. Mr Frosty has been scaring me lately - he's been on the Grapevine looking at the chooks threads and asking questions. I think he's wanting to add to our family

I say it a lot, OH is more reticent, but then he didn't come from a family where they were touchy feely, so although he doesn't say it as often as I do it means more because it doesn't come naturally to him.

I don't bother anymore. He once told me that he didnt like it when I said it all the time. So I keep my gob shut

Every day and at night when we are going to sleep.
We will be married 45 years on St. Stephens day and were together 3 years before that but we still love each other to bits.
I have to say, you do have to work at it but its well worth it.

My late OH said he loved me every day we were together. I miss that dreadfully.
