I've been overwhelmed by all the kind messages about our new grandson (William Patrick George - so glad they decided against Nathaniel - although a lovely name for all you out there called Nathaniel or whose nearest and dearest are Nathaniels - just wasn't right for him!).

Anyway, I didn't like to send a PM to those who sent best wishes in case they felt they would need to reply to my thanks, but it does seem churlish not to acknowledge all you kind individuals. What is the Vine's general response to such lovely responses?

This is probably very poor vine etiquette because I'm going to hijack your thread and say 'Thank You All' for your good wishes on the birth of MY grandson too, although I have also said thanks at the end of the thread I started about it I realize that it's the sort of thing that people will post congratulations on and not return to.

Well...I didn't congratulate either of you ( cos I was off line) but it's fantastic news- and Bob's little lass - and FD's twins....actually there seem to have been a few babies on the Vine recently!!!
