Don't worry PB; They're just winding you up.

Every year, Santa gets me some gardening stuff; last year it was root trainers. No idea how he knows but he does. You should see my OH's DD and my nieces who don't want to burst my bubble but can't quite get their head round how I've managed to also get pressies from Santa. Bless.

when DD started to doubt his existance we put big sooty footprints on the fireplace (coal fire) her face on christmas morning was priceless, and it brought us another couple of years, and she still regales the tale

My daughter wrote to Father Christmas every year as well as the Tooth Fairy when she lost her teeth, Father Christmas wrote back to her telling her she had been a really good girl and hoped she liked her presents. The Tooth Fairy even left a magical drawing of her self as daughter wanted to know what she looked like.
          Always Magical.
Father Christmas still leaves bags or stockings for my daughter 13yrs and my 4 sons aged 22 - 30 yrs as well as their partners and my grandson
          Gardening ..... begins with daybreak
          and ends with backache

We would write to Father Christmas and leave the notes on the fire place....in the morning there would be a little dusting of glitter in place of the notes- Mum would say it was from the fairies wings when they collected the notes.......

We're planning to take our little boy to Lapland next winter - but not in the usual way. A flight to Helsinki then this fantastic overnight train up north. 3 bunk bed, a little shower in the cabin etc - a small restaurant onboard. I've taken this train before and it is a magical experience. You literally feel as if you are being transported to another world. You wake up to see SILLY amounts of snow . the trees totally overburdened. Much much cheaper and far more exciting than those rip off day trip flights. You book everything online and apart from when it gets really REALLY cold and the train freezes up, everything runs like clockwork. I just can't wait to do it!!! another 12 months
I am so interested in this trip Moola. Do I google it?
