I'd like to grow asparagus, but I don't have the room to designate just one bed to it, or the patience to leave it alone for 2/3 years while its establishes it's self .

I know what you mean GN, luckily I seem to have a bit more space (well i do now) than you so gonna give it go.

Hi Greengas,

Last year I had scaffold boards weighing it down, this year I have paving slabs over the over lapping thingy at the bottom. To be fair it was fairly secure last year however that particular night the wind was unbelievable.

Are you gonna use yours throughout the winter as well?

Yes I hope to use it in winter months but as a novice not really sure what can go in there?
